CODE PHYSIO CASE STUDIES

Amanda

Amanda is an 8 year old girl with Cerebral Palsy who presented with left sided weakness and spasticity affecting both her arm and leg. Going to her previous physio always felt like a chore for Amanda and her mum and this meant that Amanda wasn't motivated to do her exercises at home. Bec and Amanda started some physio-based Acrobatics sessions and within a few sessions, Amanda was able to do a handstand.

Julie

Julie is a 47 year old woman who has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She always loved dancing as a child but never really had a regular exercise routine as an adult. She started CODE Physio sessions as a way to stay active and rebuild her strength during and after chemo. For Julie, CODE physio sessions are a great way for her to look after her muscles and maintain her bone density doing something that she loves.

Ellie

Ellie is 10 years old and has just been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. She loves her dancing classes but is finding that the classes are moving too quickly for her and she is struggling to keep up with her friends. Ellie has started CODE physio sessions as a supplement her dance classes to improve her confidence and enable her to participate and thrive in the group classes.
